Apollo Group @APAInsurance Manager Ashok Shah announced the receipt of Ksh252.2m from MasterCard Foundation to support small scale farmers from rural kenya.The Mastercard Founfation through its Rural Prosperity campaign is aiming at helping APA insurance in providing micro insurance products to cover their farming activities and produce.
The target farmers will be expected to improve productivity. All farmers specialized in small scale production are eligible and should visit APA insurance offices for more.
MasterCard Foundation is also looking forward to working with loan providing entities in the future to help farmers access cheap funding.
